KWSP members who have aged 75 or above can still receive interest!

02/09/2022

Attention! KWSP i-Akaun will be undergoing a system upgrade from the afternoon of 3 September and will not be open during this time.

According to a message from the Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP), a system upgrade will take place on Saturday 3 September 2022 and i-Akaun (Employer) will be affected from 2pm to 8pm.

The i-AKaun (Employer) will be back to normal when the upgrade is completed and people will be able to browse and use the i-AKaun (Employer) system normally.

The KWSP has not launched a similar loan scheme and people are urged not to be deceived.

The KWSP also refuted rumours that interest would not be available to members aged 75 and above, saying that members would continue to receive interest on their savings even if they live to the age of 100, having earlier amended the Employees Provident Fund Act 1991 to allow members aged 75 and above to continue to receive interest on their savings.
