The lastest payout rate of provident fund is expected to be announced in mid-February!
The Employees’ Provident Fund (KWSP) will annouce the payout rate for the past year in February each year, and the payout rate for 2020 is expected to be announced in mid-February. You can check your deposits and dividends amount through i-Akaun after the Employees Provident Fund Board announces the dividends.
In 2019, the payout rate for traditional accounts of the Provident Fund Board was 5.45% and 5.00% for Islamic accounts. In 2018, the payout rate for traditional deposit accounts was 6.15% and for Islamic deposit accounts was 5.90%.
In addition, the member deposit data in i-Akuan will be updated after the dividend is announced. For now, you can only check your deposit amount as of December 31st, 2020 from i-Akaun, as well as the transaction records before December 31st. All transaction records starting on January 1st, 2021 will not be displayed temporarily yet.
