KWSP accepts Debit Card deposits.
According to information from the Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP), members can go to KWSP to pay their provident fund by swiping their Debit Card. Currently this measure only applies to KWSP branches.
For members who are not familiar with online bank transfers, KWSP’s service of accepting Debit Card transfers is very convenient. Members can bring their Debit Card to a KWSP branch, and then explain to KWSP staff that they want to make a deposit. Then they can use their Debit Card to swipe the card on the card swiping machine and deposit it into their provident fund account.
It is a pity that the KWSP i-Akaun APP still does not support the use of Debit Card for deposits. Currently, only Online Banking can be used for deposits.
Furthermore, it has been a while since the Employees Provident Fund (KWSP) launched the new KWSP i-Akaun. The new KWSP i-Akaun implements the policy of one device per account, that is, each provident fund account can only be bound to one device. However, the functions of the new KWSP i-Akaun are not yet perfect, and some functions are temporarily unavailable in this new APP, such as i-Invest.
If you have participated in i-Invest investment, currently you can only view your i-Invest investment projects through the old version of i-Akaun APP. You can also view i-Invest investments through the web version of i-Akaun.
