A speed limit of 30 or 50 kilometers per hour may be imposed at various locations in downtown Kuala Lumpur!
According to the news issued by the Federal Minister for Dato’ Seri Shahidan, the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety (MIROS) has proposed a speed limit of 30 km/h and 50 km/h in some parts of Kuala Lumpur and the Federal Ministry of DTA is studying the proposal.
It is understood that many people are opposed to the implementation of the proposed 30km/h and 50km/h speed limits in the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area. The Federal Territory Ministry will decide whether to implement the proposed 30km/h and 50km/h speed limits when the report is available.
