The Ministry of Health will no longer announce daily COVID-19 cases on the same day, but will announce it at 10am the next day!

At a press conference yesterday (February 17), Health Minister Khairy announced the change to give the Ministry of Health enough time to release it alongside other data, such as hospitalisation rates.

He also emphasized that daily COVID-19 cases should not be observed alone, but should be observed together with other data, in order to gain a more complete understanding of the overall epidemic situation.
