JPN announces adjusted office hours for Ramadan

To coincide with Ramadan, JPN has adjusted its office hours. If you are planning to visit JPN during this period, then you should take special note.

According to the National Registration Office (JPN), all JPN branches in West and East Malaysia will be open from 8am to 4.30pm, with a lunch break from 1.30pm to 2pm.

The Friday lunch break for JPN branches in West Malaysia will be from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and for JPN branches in East Malaysia, the Friday lunch break will be from 12pm to 2pm.

As for JPN at the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC), it is open from Monday to Sunday from 8am to 4.30pm daily. Friday lunch break at the West Malaysia UTC branch is from 12.15pm to 2.45pm, Sarawak UTC branch is from 11.45am to 2.15pm and Sabah UTC branch is from 11.30am to 1.45pm.

JPN has also launched an online service that allows people to directly register their births, register their marriages and change their MYkad online at https://www.jpn.gov.my/my/perkhidmatan-dalam-talian.
