JPJ and traffic police’s websites crashed!

09/12/2021

In line with the 100 days of Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Ismail Sabri’s government, both the Land Transport Department (JPJ) and the Traffic Police are offering discounts of up to 80% on traffic summon.

The JPJ’s MySIKAP website and the Traffic Police’s MyBayar Saman website are both nearly down due to high traffic. If you can’t browse these two websites smoothly, you may need to try again later.

In addition to paying your traffic summon online, you can also pay your outstanding traffic summon directly at the nearest JPJ counter and traffic police counter, although there are long lines at many of them. Dun forget to follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) when paying your tickets at the counter.

If you receive a traffic summon issued by the Federal District and Putrajaya, you are entitled to an 80% discount, while for traffic tickets issued by other states, you are only entitled to a 70% discount.
