Johor State Government distributes RM1,000 to newly married couples and 10kg of white rice to Johor families.

Johor State Government will be giving out RM1,000 to newlyweds, according to a message from Johor State Minister. This is under the Bantuan Kasih Bangsa Johor (BKBJ) scheme.

The RM1,000 assistance scheme for newlyweds in Johor is called the One-Day Emperor’s Assistance Scheme (Bantuan Raja Sehari). This scheme is mainly for newlyweds whose monthly income does not exceed RM5,000 and who are Johorians and must be getting married for the first time.

In addition, the Johor government will also launch the Bantuan Beras Bangsa Johor (White Rice Assistance for Johorians) scheme. The scheme will distribute 10kg of rice to eligible Johorian families, benefiting an estimated 903,000 families, or 3.69 million people.

The Johor government will also give out RM500 to Diploma students and RM1,000 to Degree students.
