Kelly Chye Pei Yee, 26, is one of the state’s youngest candidates, and she has her work cut out for her.
The Barisan Nasional candidate for Mengkibol stated that she was on a mission to highlight topics that were important to young voters.
She stated that she wanted to ensure that young people had permanent work and were able to support their families.
“My goal is to increase employment opportunities in Kluang so that young people can return to work and their families are not divided due to financial instability.
“I have a manifesto to develop a high-tech industrial zone and attract foreign investors.
“The existence of this industrial zone can improve the economic status of the people of Kluang and increase their consumer power,” she said here on Saturday.
In the Kluang parliamentary constituency, Mengkibol is one of two state seats.
Chye holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Multimedia University and is employed at Chye Pei Yee & Co.
