Roads Department of Malaysia (LLM) has launched Jalanow.com, a website that allows people to check the latest status of all the roads online. If you are planning to travel or return home, you can check the status of each road before deciding whether to travel.
On Jalanow.com, you can check the traffic situation on the main roads between Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, North and South Road, NKVE, ELITE, AKLEH, KLK, LPT, Penang Bridge and Johor Long Beach.
The Jalannow.com website clearly shows the traffic flow on each road, with a description of where it is, the time of day and so on.
If you see long queues of traffic on the road you are travelling on, you may want to consider delaying your journey or choosing a different road.
