Malaysians’ salaries in 2021 have been released by Statistics Malaysia. People are grouped into five age groups in this report: 15-24 years old, 25-34 years old, 35-44 years old, and 45-54 years old. age and 55 to 64 years old.

According to the survey, the average monthly wage of young individuals aged 15 to 24 is RM1,659, while the median monthly wage is RM1,468. The average monthly wage for young persons aged 25 to 34 is RM2,664, and the median monthly salary is RM2,001.

The average monthly wage for middle-aged adults aged 35 to 44 is RM3677, while the median monthly salary is RM3077. The average monthly wage for persons between the ages of 45 and 54 is RM3865, while the median monthly salary is RM3061. The average monthly wage for people aged 55 to 64 is RM3,608, and the median monthly salary is RM2,760.

Furthermore, the survey states that men earn more than women, with an average salary of RM3,085 for men and RM2,968 for women. Men earn RM2315 per month on average, while women get RM2145.
