Instagram’s new feature, “Collab Feature,” means posts from friends can also appear on your homepage!

04/03/2022

Believe that some of you will see some “collab posts” when you use Instagram; that is, a post will appear on several different users’ Instagram accounts at the same time. Many people have been having a lot of questions about how exactly to do this, and the editing room has put together a few steps to complete a “collab post”.

“Collab Post” is a new feature recently introduced by Instagram that allows users to post a photo with a friend, date or family member without having to post it with each person once. As soon as one of them posts and then tags the other using the Collab Feature, the post will appear on both Instagram accounts at the same time once the other person accepts the invitation, saving time and effort!

I. As always, press “Add Post” in Instagram

2. After selecting the photos/videos you want to post and filling in the caption you want to post, select “Tag people.”

3. Click on “Invite Collaborator”, and then select the IG account name of the friend you want to post the Post with

4. The other party will receive a system notification asking if they want to accept your invitation.

If the other party selects “Accept”, the post will be posted on both of your accounts at the same time, becoming a “Joint Post.”

After every gathering or group event, everyone wants to share the memories and photos, but if everyone has to post and tag their friends one by one, or if everyone needs to edit and apply filters, it’s too tedious to think about the steps. With this “collab feature,” the traditional problems can be easily solved. It’s very user-friendly!
