It took place in a Taiping shopping center’s toilet for women. The Chinese woman, age 20, who had a part-time job at the mall, was using the toilet when the incident occurred.
After she uses the toilet, a man pushes her back there and shuts the door.
After that, the man forced the woman into a hug, continued kissing her on the cheek, and put his feet against her body so she was unable to move. For a while, the woman was unable to hold off the other person and had to resort to calling for help, but no one responded.
The woman fought against the suspect’s two-handed grasp on her neck but failed. The attacker released her hand at this point. When the woman saw this, she made all she could to push the suspect away before opening the toilet door and running away.
The woman shouted after exiting the toilet and raced to the gate to ask the security personnel for help. The suspect was still sitting in the toilet when the security officers arrived at the toilet, so they caught him, led him to the security room, and reported the incident to the police.
The victim was helped by family members as she reported the incident to the police station and was taken to the hospital for evaluation since she was so terrified.
