Total air traffic increased 41.3% in Nov 22.

According to the International Air Transport Association, total air traffic in November 2022 increased 41.3 percent over November 2021 in terms of revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) (IATA).

According to the report, global traffic is now at 75.3% of November 2019 levels, indicating that the industry is continuing to recover.

International traffic increased 85.2 percent in the reviewed month compared to the same month in 2021, with Asia-Pacific continuing to report the strongest year-over-year results, with all regions improving compared to the previous year.

According to the report, international RPKs in November 2022 reached 73.7 percent of November 2019 levels. The November traffic results confirmed that consumers are thoroughly enjoying the freedom to travel.

Governments should focus on using available tools to effectively manage Covid-19, such as improved therapeutics and vaccinations, rather than repeating policies that have failed repeatedly over the last three years.
