In Malaysia, new Covid-19 cases have dropped below 1,000, while new deaths have risen to nine.

With 922 new infections in the last 24 hours, Malaysia continues its downward trend in daily Covid-19 cases.

However, official data from the Ministry of Health on the CovidNow website shows a minor increase in deaths, with nine documented in the last 24 hours compared to just five the day before.

Five people have died as a result of the coronavirus, and they were sent to hospitals all around the country.

The total number of persons who were rescued yesterday was 5,520.

Only one of the 922 new cases reported today is imported.

According to CovidNow, 929 patients are currently warded in hospitals, with 46 of them requiring ventilators.

There are 69 patients in intensive care units.

Another 30,821 persons are being held under quarantine at their homes.
