In Malaysia, about 1.2 million children have been fully vaccinated.

Over 1.2M children have been fully vaccinated.

As of yesterday, a total of 1,201,196 children aged five to eleven had finished their vaccinations under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

According to the CovidNow portal, 1,733,501 people, or 48.8% of the entire population, have gotten at least one dosage of the vaccination.

A total of 2,914,970 teenagers aged 12 to 17 years have finished their vaccination, while 3,010,110 have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, 16,105,955 people, or 68.5 percent of the adult population in the country, have received their booster shot, while 22,979,868 people, or 97.7%, have completed two doses and 23,256,502 people, or 98.9%, have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 4,254 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were provided yesterday, with 610 being the first dose, 3,068 being the second dose, and 576 being the booster dosage, bringing the total number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 70,987,758.

Two Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday, according to the Health Ministry’s GitHub portal, with one case each in Sarawak and Selangor.
