In Malaysia, 30.6 percent of children are fully vaccinated.

30.6 % of children are fully vaccinated.

As of yesterday, a total of 1,085,977 children aged five to eleven had finished their vaccinations under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

According to the CovidNow portal, 1,657,180 youngsters have gotten at least one dosage of the vaccine, accounting for 46.7 percent of the total.

For teens aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,907,463 people, or 93.4 percent, have finished their immunisation, while 3,004,613 people, or 96.5 percent, have received at least one dose.

In the adult population, 16,075,262 people (68.3%) have received their booster shot, 22,972,212 people (97.6%) have finished two doses, and 23,248,104 people (98.8%) have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 12,667 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were given out yesterday, with 4,384 being the first dose, 5,188 being the second dose, and 3,095 being the booster dosage, bringing the total number of vaccines given out under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 70,737,211.

Three Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday, according to the Health Ministry’s GitHub page, two in Selangor and one in Melaka.
