In Malaysia, 30.2 percent of children are fully vaccinated.

30.2 % of children are fully vaccinated

As of yesterday, a total of 1,073,551 children aged five to eleven had finished their vaccinations under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

According to the CovidNow portal, 1,650,581 youngsters have gotten at least one dosage of the vaccine, accounting for 46.5 percent of the total.

In the 12-to-17-year-old age range, 2,906,035 or 93.4 percent have finished their vaccination, while 3,003,483 or 96.5 percent have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, 16,069,133 adults, or 68.3%, have gotten the booster dosage, while 22,971,604 adults, or 97.6%, have finished two doses and 23,247,523 adults, or 98.8%, have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 14,253 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were given out yesterday, with 3,300 being the first dose, 8,348 being the second dose, and 2,605 being the booster dosage, bringing the total number of vaccine doses given out under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 70,708,376.

Three Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday, according to the Health Ministry’s GitHub page, one each in Kedah, Melaka, and Perlis.
