Malaysia’s average mobile download speed in July was 28.02Mbps, ranking 88th in the world.
According to Speedtest’s July Internet speed report, the average download speed on the mobile network in Malaysia was 28.02Mbps in July, 26.03Mbps in June, 27.52Mbps in May and 29.58Mbps in April. In July, the speed was just 10.70Mbps.
In the July Internet Speed report, the global average download speed was 55.07Mbps and upload speed was 12.37Mbps. That means Malaysia’s Internet speed is a drag on the global average.
The fastest mobile Internet speeds in July were 190.03Mbps in the United Arab Emirates, 189.20Mbps in South Korea, 170.77Mbps in Qatar, and 157.72Mbps in China. The United States ranked 14th with 91.01Mbps, Singapore ranked 18th with 85.93Mbps, and Hong Kong ranked 23rd with 78.06Mbps.
In the mobile Speed report for second quarterly report 2021, Digi ranked first with an average speed of 30.20Mbps, Maxis ranked second with 29.92Mbps, U Mobile ranked third with 27.40Mbps, Celcom ranked fourth with 24.91Mbps and Unifi ranked fifth with 13.75Mbps.
