According to Counterpoint, the top 10 best-selling smartphones in the world in 2021 are the iPhone 12, with 2.9 percent of total phone sales, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, with 2.2 percent of total sales, and two smartphones tied for third place, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 Pro, with 2.1 percent of total phone sales. The iPhone 12 Pro Max was the second runner-up, accounting for 2.2 percent of total sales, and the third place was a tie between two smartphones, the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 12 Pro, accounting for 2.1 percent of total sales.
The iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy A12 were also tied for the top five best-selling phones, accounting for 2.0 percent of total phone sales.The 7th best-selling phone was the Xiaomi Redmi 9A, with 1.9% of total phone sales, 0.1% off the 5th best-selling phone.
Finally, coming in at 8th on the list is the iPhone SE 2020, or iPhone SE 2, with 1.6% of total handset sales, and at 9th is still an Apple phone, the iPhone 13 Pro Max, with 1.3% of total handset sales. Finally, the phone on the 10th is the Xiaomi Redmi 9, with 1.1% of total phone sales.
