If you find someone stealing your home WiFi, here’s how to block them!

06/06/2022

Is your WiFi slowing down? Is the signal light on your Router still blinking even though no one is surfing the Internet at home? Then you may have someone stealing your WiFi.

Although everyone’s WiFi will set a password, but for those who really want to steal WiFi, cracking WiFi password is not a difficult task. Here you will be taught to check whether your home WiFi has been stolen by an outsider.

First, you just need to enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in the browser, then enter your account Username and password, which is not the password of the WiFi, but the management Router account.

After successfully logging into your account, you can check how many devices are currently connected to your WiFi in Wireless Clients or Status Wireless, and if you find an unknown device connecting to your WiFi, you can blacklist it.

You can click Advanced, then select Wireless MAC Filtering to list the MAC address of the other party, and then select Deny Following MAC Access Wireless.

You can also select only certain devices to connect to WiFi, so you can add your own and your family’s MAC addresses to the list and select Allow Following MAC access Wireless, so only the devices in the list can connect to your WiFi.

Note! The setup method may vary from one Router to another, but the operation method is generally not too different. If you have time, you can study it.
