If your application for STR assistance is rejected, or the amount of assistance you receive does not meet your actual income, you can appeal online.
The Compassionate Assistance (STR) is an assistance fund launched by the government. All singles with a monthly income of not more than RM2,500 and families with a monthly income of not more than RM5,000 can receive assistance from the government.
The 2024 STR aid will be distributed in four phases, namely January, April, August and November. The first and second phases of STR assistance were distributed on January 28 and April 3.
If the amount of assistance you receive does not match your actual income, for example, your family income does not exceed RM2,500, but you are classified into the group with a monthly income of RM2,501 to RM5,000, you can directly apply through STR official website filed an appeal.
However, it is important to note that some appeals may require you to submit additional additional documents.
