On March 4, the well-known Korean girl group BLACKPINK performed in the National Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, attracting fans from both at and across the globe. After the event, several netizens expressed their displeasure with the booths that were set up and the items that were offered, and they all posted about how they “saw” BLACKPINK on social media.
It’s like seeing a concert in a prison, several netizens complained, because after paying hundreds of ringgit for the tickets, all they saw were high walls and fences. Also, some netizens interpreted this as a warning to avoid purchasing these seats the next time they plan to attend a concert at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil.
The seats were in No. 36 and No. 37, Row G, District 07, however the netizen Nas Rahman stated on Twitter that he had purchased concert tickets for RM488. He later discovered this information after entering the stadium. There is no 37 and only seat number 36 in row G. I’m restricted to waiting at the door and watching the concert from a sitting position on the stairs.
The issue reportedly remained unresolved until the event began despite Nas Rahman’s requests for the personnel to address it immediately. He decided to seek the organizer back for the RM480 concert ticket and RM1000 in compensation, making the total sum due RM1480, as the organizer Live Nation did not resolve the issue at all until the seventh day.
