ASNB has introduced the convenience of opening a fund account online, which allows people to open an account directly online without having to queue up at an ASNB branch or bank to open an account.
When you hear the name ASNB, many people think it is an Aboriginal-only fund. In fact, there are at least three funds under ASNB that are available not only for aboriginal-only fund, namely ASM, ASM 2 Wawasan and ASM 3. The share prices of ASM, ASM 2 Wawasan and ASM 3 are all fixed, i.e. maintained at RM1 per unit.
How to open an ASNB account online
Step 1: Download and install the MyASNB APP from the App Store.
Step 2: Open the MyASNB APP and click on Daftar to register your account.
Step 3: Select IC Baru in Jenis ID and enter your ID number and phone number.
Step 4: Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions and click on Teruskan.
Step 5: Enter the OTP one-time verification number you received on your mobile phone.
Step 6: Create a login name (ID Pengguna) and re-enter the OTP one-time verification number you received a second time.
Step 7: Fill in your personal details such as name, gender, ethnicity, religion, postcode, bank account number, etc.
Step 8: Answer a few questions related to your personal details and work.
Step 9: Take a photograph of the front and back of your Damascus card, perform face recognition and enter the numbers that appear on the screen.
Step 10. Create a secure verification word and password to log in to your MyASNB account.
Step 11: You can select the ASNB funds you wish to purchase.
