Public bank also offers an online card replacement service, where the card will be mailed to you without having to visit the bank.
If you are a Volkswagen Bank customer, you can replace your card through the PBe online account. After logging into your account and filling out the mailing information, Public bank will mail the card to your door.
Each card has an expiration date, generally the Debit Card is valid for about 6 years and the Credit Card is valid for only 4 years. The expiration date is clearly indicated on each card, i.e. Valid Thru, and then a number, e.g. 07/28, which means July 2028 is the expiration date.
Any expired bank card will be automatically invalidated and cannot be used for online transfers, in-store swipes or withdrawals.
How to replace your Debit Card online
Step 1: Login to the web version of your PBe account.
Step 2: Select Profile Maintenance.
Step 3: Select Manage Card Profile.
Step 4: Select Renew PB Lifestyle Debit Card.
Step 5: Select the Debit Card you want to replace.
Step 6: Enter the mailing address.
Step 7: Enter the OTP verification code to complete the verification process.
Step 8: Finish.
