Contactless Transaction means that you do not need to enter any password when you make a purchase in a shop, you can simply touch or approach the merchant’s payment terminal to complete the payment.

As the Contactless Transaction process does not require a PIN, anyone who has your Debit Card can use it to make purchases at the mall. You are advised to reduce the daily spending limit on your Debit Card Contactless Transaction.
To change your Debit Card Contactless Transaction limit, you can log in to Maybank2u and go to Setting, then select Card, then Contactless Transaction Limit and you can adjust your Debit Card Contactless Transaction limit. You can then adjust the daily spending limit for your Debit Card Contactless Transaction. You can choose from RM50, RM100, RM250 or RM1000.
If you rarely use the Card Contactless Transaction function, it is recommended that you set the limit to the minimum to minimise the risk of Debit Card fraud. If you set the limit to RM0, it means that the Contactless Transaction function is turned off.
