Now that Apple Pay is available in Malaysia’s payment system, iPhone owners there may finally use it to make purchases.
Only AmBank, Maybank, and Standard Chartered bank cards are now supported by Apple Pay, although more bank cards are anticipated to be supported in the coming days.
Apple Pay is an NFC-based mobile payment feature that has been available in other countries for many years, but it was only recently made available in Malaysia. Users merely need to launch Apple Pay and press their phone towards the payment terminal at the store to complete the transaction when using Apple Pay.
How to add a credit or debit card to Apple Pay?
Step 1: Open Apple Wallet.
Step 2: Click Add a credit or debit card to Wallet.
Step 3: Select Debit or Credit Card.
Step 4: Follow the instructions to take a picture of the bank card.
Step 5: Enter the received Verification Code.
Step 6: Completed
How to use Apple Pay in retail stores?
Step 1: Double-tap the power button on the iPhone.
Step 2: Observe what is displayed on the phone screen.
Step 3: Hold the phone close to the payment terminal.
Step 4: Hold on until the phone displays the word Done to confirm that the payment has been made.
