When you refuel your car at Petronas, you will earn 1 point for every 1 liter of gasoline or diesel you purchase. If you buy 40 liters of gasoline, you will earn 40 points. As for Petronas Kedai Mesra members will also earn 1 point for every RM1 spent at Petronas Kedai Mesra.
Once you have accumulated a certain number of points, you can redeem the points. 100 points will be redeemed as RM1 and 40 points will be redeemed as 40 sen. You can redeem points when you refill your fuel, redeem points when you spend at Kedai Mesra, or redeem points directly to cash via Setel APP.
However, it is important to note that Petronas points are valid for 3 years and will be frozen when you have not made any transactions for 6 months.
Petronas also offers special deals from time to time, where different levels of members can earn extra points when they spend.
Petronas petrol stations have been offering Setel e-wallet for some time now and people can use Setel when pumping fuel and also when spending money at Kedai Mesra.
Setel is the e-wallet of Petronas, and it is very simple to use, that is, when you arrive at the station, you just park your car next to the fuel dispenser you want to fill up and open the Setel e-wallet. Setel will then automatically detect the location of your gas station and you will need to select the number of the fuel dispenser and then select the amount of fuel to be filled.
