How can COVID-19 patient respond quickly? The Ministry of Health has five suggestions for a faster and better recovery.
As many as 12,000 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Malaysia recently. While many of those diagnosed recover and go home and gradually return to normal life, they can then suffer from the after-effects of what the World Health Organization calls “Long Covid.”
According to a Facebook post by the Ministry of Health, the recovery process for all diagnosed patients is important as it takes time for the body to return to normal and a balanced diet and moderate activity are essential.
This is a way for the patient’s body to recover faster
- Get your daily calories to keep your body strong
- Eat protein and antioxidant foods to help restore your body’s resistance
- Make sure you eat a balanced diet every day and take in various nutrients to build up your resistance
- Stay active daily to improve blood circulation, metabolism, and immunity
- Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to promote a variety of internal physical activities
