As Malaysia’s banking industry began to enter the era of e-banking, many domestic banks has decided to reduce their branches. According to an announcement from Hong Leong Bank, 4 branches will be closed in September 2021.
Following shows the last operation day of affected branches and relocated branches.
Any transactions and accounts handled by the affected branches will be transferred to the specific branches. However, the closure of the 4 branches is still subject to approval of the National Bank.
Currently, Hong Leong Bank has 253 branches across the country, and 1,071 self-service terminals.
