According to the official website of Hong Leong Bank, two branches of the bank will be closed in August and one in October. The business of the closed branches will be transferred to another branch.
The branch in Sungai Bakap Seberang Prai, Penang, which will be closed in August, will last open on Friday, 19 August 2022 and its operations will be transferred to the branch in Simpang Ampat.
The branch in Kapar Town, Selangor will be open until Friday, 26 August 2022 and will be transferred to the branch in Setia Alam.
The Bank’s branch in Ukay Perdana, Selangor will last open on Friday, 7 October 2022 and its operations will be transferred to the branch in Taman Sri Rampai.
Currently, there are still 232 branches and 1,022 self-service machines throughout Malaysia where people can make bank transfers and other transactions via HLB Connect APP or Online.
