Hong Leong Bank and Maybank both support cardless withdrawals!
What should I do if I forget my wallet and bank card? Besides using your cell phone’s e-wallet to make purchases at the mall, you can also choose to use the cardless mode to withdraw money from the bank’s ATMs.
Currently, Hong Leong Bank and Maybank both offer cardless withdrawal service, which allows you to withdraw money from ATMs without carrying your card.
Note that a service charge of approximately RM1.06 will be levied for cardless withdrawals and there is a daily withdrawal limit.
How to withdraw cash without a card at Hong Leong Bank
Step 1: Go to Hong Leong Connect APP and find ATM Withdrawal function.
Step 2: Select the amount you want to withdraw, you can choose from RM50 to RM200 etc.
Step 3: You will be given a collection code.
Step 4: Go to the nearest Hong Leong ATM and enter the Collection Code to withdraw your money.
How to withdraw money from Maybank without card
Step 1: Login to Maybank2u.
Step 2: Select Transfers.
Step 3: Select Cardless Withdrawal (Open Cardless Withdrawal).
Step 4: Fill in your phone number, name and withdrawal amount.
Step 5: Then you will receive a cell phone message.
Step 6: A 16-digit to 17-digit number will be provided in the SMS.
Step 7: Go to Maybank ATM.
Step 8: Select the language and choose Cardless Withdrawal.
Step 9: Select Continue / Teruskan.
Step 10: Enter the 16-digit to 17-digit number in the SMS.
Step 11: After that, another SMS will be sent to your phone with a 6-digit number.
Step 12: Enter the 6-digit number at the ATM.
Step 13: You will be able to withdraw money without any problems.
