The red alert areas issued by the Meteorological Department for danger are, respectively, Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru, and Sandakan, Telupid, Kinabatangan, Berulan, Sandakan, and Kudat in Sabah.
In addition, according to the rainfall warning issued by the Meteorological Department, the orange warning areas representing bad weather are Pahang Pekan and Rompin, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor East Kota, Muar, Batu Pahat, and Pontian, Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Betong, Sarikei, Malatuan, Muar and Bintulu, Tambunan in Sabah, West Coast area, Tawau and Lahad Datu.
Finally, the Meteorological Department also issued yellow rainfall warnings for Malang, Kuantan, and Bera in Pahang, Sri Aman, Bakan, Rulau, Sibu, Tatau, Kecil Spaoh, Subis, Marudi, Miri, and Maruti in Sarawak, and Dongge in Sabah.
