Health’s worst enemy! Cardiologist reveals he never eats ‘these two junk foods’! Eating them is bad for your health

Junk food dry million, although they are all delicious to eat bite after bite, for heart health, they are the biggest enemy.

In this regard, the U.S. cardiologist Klodas (Elizabeth Klodas)) said that he will never eat [these 2 kinds of junk food]!

High in additives, low in nutrients.

According to China Daily, Dr. Klodas said the one snack he would never eat is potato chips and tortilla chips.

Baked Cheese Nachos, Corn Crisp Puffs, and Potato Chips top the list of popular snacks in the U.S. and are very popular. But they are high in additives and low in fiber and other beneficial nutrients.

He said bluntly, that every day only eating a bag of potato chips snacks, weighing about 1 ounce (28.35 grams), a year down the road is equivalent to pouring about three-quarters of a cup of salt into the human body, letting it become fat 15 pounds (6.80KG).

If too much salt is consumed in the body, it can increase blood pressure, and gaining too much weight also hurts one’s cholesterol and blood sugar. You don’t even have to wait a year, as studies have shown that blood vessel function can be affected just a few hours after eating low-quality foods.

Replace junk food with other snacks

Luckily, Dr. Klodas says some snacks can be substituted for chips and tortilla chips so that one can skip junk food and still enjoy being good for the heart. They are:

1. Hummus with Vegetable Sauce – About half a cup of hummus has as many calories as a small bag of Cheetos or Doritos. Add some veggie dip to taste and you’ve got a great snack that’s full of fiber, healthy fats, and protein for basically zero calories.

2. Raw nuts – If you don’t eat nuts seasoned with salt, an ounce of assorted nuts only has about 165 calories. If you are not used to eating raw nuts, you can mix half raw nuts with half salted cooked nuts for more or less the same taste, but with a reduced salt intake!

3. Fruit – two small bananas or three oranges, calories equal to a small bag of potato chips, or tortilla chips, but also can get a sufficient number of vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber.
