Free medical care, free clinic visits and free admission to wards are among the benefits available to blood donors!
In order to encourage more people to respond to the blood donation campaign and save the lives of those in need, the government will provide various benefits to blood donors. Blood donors will be divided into 10 classes, each of which will be entitled to a different set of benefits.
Donors will receive a minimum of four months of free outpatient and medical care and a maximum of 10 years of free outpatient and medical care, as well as free admission to a second-class ward for life. Blood donors are required to present a certificate of blood donation to the hospital in order to receive the benefits. Outpatient and ward admissions are counted from the day of the last blood donation.
First-time donors receive 4 months of free outpatient and medical treatment and admission to a second-class ward. Free hepatitis B vaccination for 2 blood donations in a year. Those who donate blood 2 to 5 times will receive 4 months of free outpatient and medical treatment, and will be admitted to a second-class ward. Those who donate blood 6 to 10 times are entitled to 1 year of free outpatient clinic and 6 months of free second-class ward.
Those who donate blood 11 to 15 times are entitled to 2 years of free outpatient consultation and medical treatment, as well as 1 year of free admission to a second-class ward. Those who donate blood 16 to 20 times will receive 2 years of free outpatient consultation and treatment, and free admission to a second-class ward. Those who donate blood 21 to 30 times will receive 3 years of free outpatient consultation and treatment, and free admission to a second-class ward.
Those who donate blood 31 to 40 times will receive 4 years of free outpatient consultation and treatment, and free admission to a first-class ward. For those who have donated blood 41 to 50 times, they are entitled to 6 years of free outpatient treatment and free admission to a first-class ward. Those who have donated blood more than 50 times or donated platelets more than 150 times will be entitled to 10 years of free outpatient consultation and treatment, as well as free admission to a first-class ward and free admission to a second-class ward.
