Minister of Health announced that confirmed patients will be tested for RTK on the fourth day after diagnosis and will be released from quarantine if the test is negative. If the test is positive, the quarantine will continue for a full seven days.
The Minister of Health has also announced that people will be exempted from wearing masks when outdoors as of 1 May. However, people will still be required to wear masks when travelling on public transport.
Minister of Health also announced that it will no longer be compulsory for people to sign MySejahtera when entering public places. However, the Ministry of Health is encouraging people to turn on MySJ Trace to keep track of those who have been diagnosed.
People who have been vaccinated will also not be required to undergo PCR testing when entering the country.
