Now you can sell your Odd Lots online yourself, instead of calling Remisier for help!
The so-called Odd Lots are shares with less than 100 units. Odd Lots are shares with less than 100 units. Generally, stock transactions on the Internet are traded with 100 units, and in the case of dividend reinvestment or additional shares, Odd Lots may appear on the shares you hold.
Previously, you had to sell Odd Lots through your own Remisier, that is, you had to call Remisier to help you sell Odd Lots, and then you had to pay a high commission for the transaction.
However, many stock trading platforms have now introduced the service of buying or selling Odd Lots online. You can buy or sell Odd Lots by simply logging into your own stock trading platform, and the commission for Odd Lots will be the same as a typical transaction of over 100 units.
At present, Hong Leong eBroking stock trading platform only supports Odd Lots selling function in computer version, that is, users must use computer to login to Hong Leong eBroking trading platform. Next, select the stock you want to buy or sell, and click the Buy or Sell drop-down button, and select Normal Order (Odd Lots). Simply enter the units you want to sell or buy.
You can also check the Odd Lots status of individual stocks by clicking on Stocks and selecting Odd Lots Info.
In addition to Hong Leong eBroking, other investment banks such as CIMB iTrade have also launched similar services.
