Following the violence against students outside the school in October last year, another student was assaulted outside Sungai Long Secondary School by suspected members of a clandestine gang. The security alarm outside the school once again sounded the alarm, causing residents to worry.
A group of more than 10 young talents armed with sticks surrounded three students who walked out of the campus at 1pm today and attacked them. Although many parents were outside at the time, the perpetrators turned a blind eye, and many students also witnessed their classmates being beaten.
Most of the teenagers who attacked the students were wearing black or gray clothes. They were dressed similarly to the perpetrators of the incident where students were beaten outside school last year. They are suspected to be the same group.
The circulating video showed that a total of three students were beaten. One of the students was surrounded by four or five people and could only cover his head with his hands. It is currently unknown whether the attacked student was injured.
Another incident of students being attacked outside the school has made parents worried about students’ safety and urged the police to intervene in the investigation.
