The government is gradually relaxing its epidemic prevention measures and is currently considering whether to relax 3 measures, namely the need for mandatory wearing of masks, scanning of MySejahtera and the need for PCR testing of airport arrivals.
According to a message from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ishmael Sabil, the Ministry of Health is exploring the 3 matters. The government has not ruled out lifting the mandatory outdoor mask wearing and the use of MySejahtera for scanning registration.
The government may also exempt people entering through the airport from RT-PCR testing. If the government does implement this measure, it will make it easier for people to enter the country.
What is certain is that the Government will not liberalise all the preventive measures at once, but will implement the liberalisation measures gradually. The Government will also consider the views of the people before making a decision.
