Malaysia has entered the transition period of endemic diseases from April 1, during which the people need to comply with 10 SOPs.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri held a press conference in the evening of March 8 and announced the latest standard operating procedures (SOPs). The country will enter the transition period of endemic diseases from April 1, during which people still need to comply with the SOPs.
With the endemic transition, the government has relaxed most of the measures, such as abolishing the opening hours of stores, removing the limit of the number of people in places of worship, and not requiring people who cross the state to prove whether they have been vaccinated.

8. The requirement for vaccination of employees is removed, and those who cross state lines are not required to prove that they have been vaccinated.
9. Disinfection is carried out in accordance with the regulations established by each department for the cleaning of places of worship.
10. Suspected and confirmed cases must follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
