According to the Prime Minister, import permits (AP) are no longer required for food imports from abroad with immediate effect. The purpose of this measure is to ensure that our food supply is adequate.
The Prime Minister said that the measure had been approved at the Cabinet meeting and that all parties could import any foodstuff from abroad into the country. More details will be announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry in the near future.
