STR Grant is now open for application and updating of information from November 1st.
The STR Grant is a government-run grant program for families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 and single persons with a monthly income of up to RM2,500.
Eligible applicants can apply at any time of the year and the 2024 STR grant will be disbursed in 4 installments, with the earliest disbursement to be made in February 2024 at the earliest.
If you have received a government grant in 2023 and your latest information is the same as the previous one, you can also check and update your information. If there is any change in your information, you have to go and update your information.
How to update your STR benefits online
Step 1: Visit https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my/ .
Step 2: Enter your ID number and click Log Masuk.
Step 3: Check if the ID number is correct and click on Semak.
Step 4: Check if the Security Verification Code is correct and select Yes (Ya) or No (Tidak).
Step 5: Enter the login password.
Step 6: Click on Kemas Kini Permohonan.
Step 7: Just check and fill in the updated information and submit.
To apply for STR assistance online
Step 1: Visit https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my/.
Step 2: Click on Permohonan Baharu STR 2024.
Step 3: Fill in all the information.
Step 4: Simply submit the application form.
