With the announcement of the 0.25% interest rate increase by the National Bank, domestic banks have also started to raise their interest rates, and Touch ‘n Go eWallet GO+, which is mainly a money market fund, has also started to raise its interest rate. the interest rate paid out by Touch ‘n Go eWallet GO+ has increased from the previous rate of about 1.50%p.a. to 1.73%p.a. The interest rate paid by Touch ‘n Go eWallet GO+ increased to 1.73%p.a. from approximately 1.50%p.a. previously.

 

Touch ‘n Go eWallet GO+ will invest users’ deposits in the Principal e-Cash Fund (Class A), which, according to the Principal e-Cash Fund (Class A), has a recent 7-day interest rate of 1.61% to 1.73% p.a. . This rate is similar to a 1-month time deposit rate.
