Chinese New Year is approaching, are you planning to buy a new refrigerator, new air conditioner, washing machine, microwave, or rice cooker? The government will subsidize you up to RM400!
The government continues to roll out the SAVE 3.0 program in 2022, to encourage the public to buy energy-efficient appliances with 4 or 5 stars. Generally speaking, the price of energy-saving appliances will be relatively high. Through this program, the public will be able to buy energy-saving appliances at lower prices.
Under the SAVE 3.0 program, people can get RM200 off when they buy refrigerators, air conditioners, TV sets, or washing machines, RM100 off when they buy microwave ovens, and RM50 off when they buy rice cookers.
The government divides electrical appliances into two groups, namely, refrigerators and air conditioners belong to the first group, while televisions, washing machines, microwave ovens, and rice cookers belong to the second group. Each household can apply once in the first and second groups and receive a discount of up to RM400.
If you already participated in the SAVE 2.0 program last year, you can only buy appliances in the second group this year.

Group 1:
Refrigerator, air conditioner: RM200
Group 2:
TV, washing machine: RM200
