A RM5 cashback on bill payments has been introduced by Touch ‘n Go eWallet as a way to persuade consumers to pay bills via the service. From 24 September to 31 December 2022, the promotion is valid.
To take advantage of the cashback discount, users must activate automatic billing (Bills Auto Payment). A minimum bill of RM50 is required.
Users who enable the automated billing feature in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet, which causes invoices to be automatically paid from the Touch ‘n Go eWallet each month, are qualified for the cashback.
The user’s Touch ‘n Go eWallet account will get the RM5 cash rebate in 2 instalments: RM2.50 the first time, and RM2.50 the second. In the event that a user sets up and pays a bill in September, for instance, the first cashback will be credited to the account in November and the second one in December.
The cash refund will be credited to the account in December and January, respectively, if the user sets up and pays the bill in October. In November, pay your bills and set up recurring payments. In January and February, you’ll get cash back. The cash rebate will only be granted in February and March for the invoices paid in December.
After paying the bill, the user cannot receive the cashback if he unbinds the automatic bill payment feature. The first 30,000 transactions only, and there is a single cash rebate per user.
You can go to Bill Payment History (Recent / Saved Bills) and choose Schedule Now to set up automatic bill payment in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
