[From October 1st] The interval of the AZ vaccine was shortened to 6 weeks!

Health Minister KJ said that from October 1st, the interval of the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine was reduced from 9 weeks to 6 weeks.

The Ministry of Health has decided to shorten the interval between the first dose and the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

“From next month, the original interval of 9 weeks will be shortened to 6 weeks, and people can get the second dose of vaccine earlier.”

At first, the interval between two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine was 12 weeks. On July 1st this year, KJ, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, said that the interval between AZ vaccines was shortened from 12 weeks to 9 weeks, and now it is shortened to 6 weeks.
