Ambank will raise BR and BLR from May 19!
From May 19, Ambank will raise interest rates!
Ambank’s loan rates will be modified starting May 19, 2022, according to information published by the bank, as Bank Negara Malaysia boosts interest rates.
The base rate (BR) will be raised from 2.60 to 2.85 percent per annum. The Base Lending Rate (BLR) will be increased from 5.45% to 5.70% annually.
If you’re an AmBank customer, you should check your loan interest rate and monthly loan amount with the bank. This is to keep you from falling behind on your payments and defaulting on your loan.
Domestic banks may raise lending rates again this year as Bank Negara raises interest rates twice this year.
