YES has become the first telecommunications company to launch a 5G network in Malaysia and now all 5G cell phone users can receive a free YES 5G Prepaid SIM card.
All 5G cell phone users can receive a free YES 5G Prepaid SIM card with unlimited access to the 5G network and 10GB of 4G network data from now until 14 February 2022.
Those interested in receiving a YES 5G Prepaid SIM card can visit https://firstto5g.yes.my/Register/DiscoverFT5G register or register for a SIM card directly through the MyYes APP. A simple authentication process will be required to activate the 5G SIM card.
There are currently 2 million cell phones in Malaysia that support the 5G network, which is currently available only in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, and will be gradually extended to other parts of the country. If you are in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, you can try to use the 5G network.
