Our Health Minister KJ today shared a post on Twitter about the Health Care Programme for the B40 group (PeKa B40) ~ he said that the programme was promoted in 2019 by the Health Minister under the Pakatan Harapan government, Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad, and the Ministry is continuing to promote the programme today.
Benefits of the PeKa B40 scheme.
- Free annual medical check-up: Each beneficiary and spouse can have a free annual medical check-up at a designated government or private clinic
- Medical Equipment Grant of up to RM20,000: The medical equipment grant can be used to purchase medical equipment such as cataracts, pacemakers, heart stents, prostheses, wheelchairs, etc.
- Cancer chemotherapy completion bonus: Patients who have completed cancer chemotherapy will receive RM1,000 as a bonus.
- Transport Allowance: RM500 for West Malaysia and RM1,000 for East Malaysia.
Under the B40 Group Health Care Scheme (PeKa B40), BSH recipients aged 40 and above and their spouses are automatically eligible to participate in the scheme without special registration.

The public can check their eligibility at the above website. Eligible persons and their spouses can bring their ICs to the nearest designated clinic for a free medical check-up. It is important to note that places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
