Free guided tours for short-term visitors who arrive at Singapore by flight!

09/03/2023

Singapore’s tourism board has introduced a scheme to encourage flight-in visitors to the city to take advantage of a free guided tour and experience a different side of Singapore.

After years of closure, many formerly closed tourist destinations are once again welcoming visitors. The Singapore Tourist Board (STB) has introduced a new incentive programme that will allow visitors to take part in free guided tours and experience a distinct side of Singapore at no additional cost.

The Singapore Rewards Programme website and the VisitSingapore app will be available to international guests as of March 8. The 38 available tourist opportunities can be broken down into the following four groups: thrills and flavors, food and drink, health and wellness, and responsible travel.

Excitement Category: For those looking for excitement and taste, visitors can join the outdoor game tour “Chinatown Murder” or paint with cats in an impromptu manner.

Dining Category: If you are interested in dining, you can enjoy dinner while cruising the Singapore River, visit the Singapore Brass Lion Distillery or learn how to make a cocktail “Singapore Sling” in an old shophouse.

Wellness Category: If wellness is your focus, sign up for a one-hour water bike ride or learn to make aromatherapy rattan and fragrance sprays.

Environmental Sustainability Category: For those who are concerned about environmental sustainability, you can take a behind-the-scenes tour of S.E.A. Oceanarium, a guided tour of Changi Airport and Jewel Changi, or go canoeing on Pulau Ubin.
